Tennessee Technology Center
Background
The Tennessee Technology Center, located on 35 acres in Ripley, Tenn., is a continuing-education site, working to enhance area workforce development and attract new business to the community. The center is uniquely arranged, working off an interior common area, to limit the need for corridors and provide efficient use of square footage. Classrooms provide interactive and long-distance learning, and broadcast capabilities. The center also is built to directly serve community needs, providing flexible meeting space for large meetings, trade shows or small lecture halls, complete with audiovisual and teleconferencing capabilities.
